Mission Statement
The mission of "The Prep" is to provide the challenging academic environment that encourages critical, creative, and independent habits of thought as well as a lifelong passion for learning."The Prep" promotes and celebrates academic achievement, artistic development, ethical awareness, technological literacy, athletic endeavor and personal growth. The school strives to maintain a diverse community that encourages students to participate actively in decisions affecting their lives and to develop an appreciation of their responsibilities to the larger world.
Faculty
While the coursework is always challenging and our standards high, the exceptional feature of our school is the dedicated faculty of individuals who share their passion for their subjects with their students and pride themselves on their teaching skills. Over 85% of our instructors hold advanced degrees and the average teaching experience is ten years.
Athletics and Activities
A variety of activities are offered at all levels to develop a well balanced perspective on life. Our school offers interscholastic competition at all levels and has been ranked as #1 athletic program among private schools in our classification. We also emphasize the arts with a strong visual and performing arts program. Honors societies, service clubs, and a variety of unique programs encourage students to try new activities.
